Veterinary diet for dogs with struvite urolithiasis

When a diagnosis is made, the veterinarian will prescribe a veterinary diet for your dog that can adjust the pH of the urine. By feeding this diet, the pH of the urine will be lowered to an optimal level within a few days and the stones or crystals will then dissolve.

Administration

As the only feed throughout the day. Optimally, the daily ration should be divided evenly into 2-3 portions throughout the day. Water must always be available. The feeding period is up to 6 months, unless your veterinarian decides otherwise.
